- Functions: footrest- Armrests: no armrestsAtlas was intended as a tailor-made table for Portal Bar in Stockholm as part of the commission for the architecture of this restaurant / bar by Claesson Koivisto Rune Architects in 2018. The name comes from the Atlas district in Stockholm, whose entrance is where the gateway is located. The original tables were made of Swedish oak and galvanized steel to work both indoors and outdoors. The table then grew into a series of different table configurations, stools, benches and clothes hangers. In addition to the obvious robustness to withstand the toughest handling, the surprisingly graceful design feature is the "dancing" bow that ends the legs.DESIGNER:
