    Each 44 occurs from a free pour of molten aluminum into a large canister filled with rock-like modules of resin impregnated sand. The result of this process is a piece that has both delicate and substantially solid features. When viewed from afar 44 appears as a heavy sculptural object, but a closer inspection reveals its fine, intricate nature. 44.3 features 3 pendants suspended from a cluster canopy. This piece is designed to occupy a horizontal plane that deviates from its gravitational directive. Pendants can be hung from any number of optional swag points mounted away from the canopy.
