The origins of the Andreu World brand date back to 1955, when Francisco Andreu Marti dreamed of transforming a small family carpentry workshop into a company producing bent elements, assembling and finishing chairs. Stable, constant development led to the establishment of the export company Andreu World in 1975, offering services around the world. Over time, the brand has marked its strong position in the world of design with projects such as the Andrea Chair, the iconic RDL chair, and the Manila chair. In 2001, the Andreu World International Design Competition was announced for the first time. This competition has also established itself as one of the largest international competitions, with the number of participants growing every year and its main goal is to promote creativity and new ideas among young talents. Currently, Andreu World is a leading Spanish company in the interior design and furniture industry, with the largest number of registered designs, offering new ecological materials such as Circular ONE® - a fabric made from yarn made from plastics from PET bottles and textile waste.
