Michael Anastassiades creates objects that are minimal, utilitarian and almost mundane. He launched his studio in 1994 to explore contemporary notions of culture and aesthetics. His philosophy is a continuous search for eclecticism, individuality, and timeless qualities in design. He lives and works in London. The Somewhere in the Middle table light has a mouth-blown opaline glass globe perfectly balanced on a base made of two slender elements which lie in parallel but are asymmetrically placed. The base is available in finishes of satin brass, satin nickel-plated brass and black patinated brass.
