Carl Hansen & Søn reintroduced the design in 2012, adding colors from Wegner’s own working palette to the original variant. The chair’s light, graceful form highlights many elements typical of Wegner’s best designs. The CH33T expresses organic simplicity, with many gently rounded forms. The tapered legs and crosspieces are thickest where they need to support load-bearing joints and become more slender when the design allows. The CH33T has clear references to the clean lines of the 1950s and 1960s and a beautiful wood construction in solid wood.
